IHOPUDSnR README

The data in this directory are a suite of 30-min meteorological, radiometric, and 
flux data obtained during the International H2O Project 2002 (IHOP) at the 
nine NCAR/IHOP surface stations. The data are the same as those found in the 
IHOPUDSn.txt files except these files also contain the latent heat flux calculated as 
a residual of the surface energy budget as follows:

	LE=Rnet  H  G 

where LE is the latent heat flux, Rnet is the net radiation, H is the sensible heat flux, 
and G is the soil (ground) heat flux.

All of the data, with the exception of the energy fluxes, have been gap filled using data 
from proximal sites or statistical techniques when necessary to create a continuous data 
set for the entire study period. Missing data in the flux data is denoted as 9999.

DATE and TIME 			Both are given based on CDT (GMT - 5) in Col 1-5 												and GMT in col 6-10 as follows:

4		HHMMSS 		The time of day of the measurement in CDT (GMT - 5)
