BUILDING COMMUNITY, UNDERSTANDING, AND APPRECIATION OF EARTH SCIENCES

We're committed to inspiring, engaging, and informing the public about the science going on at NCAR and in our broader scientific community. We also support and train future generations of diverse scientists and engineers, and we partner with the universities to help strengthen their programs for students in the Earth system sciences.

Our education and outreach programs cover the spectrum, from public lectures at our Mesa Lab to multiyear mentorship programs for young scientists.
