Modeling plant-soil-groundwater interactions: linking deep soil moisture with the atmosphere.

Abstract-
In this talk we will discuss the role of vegetation on land hydrology and our latest efforts in modeling it. This includes the description of a dynamic root parameterization, and an assessment of soil moisture profiles, infiltration modulated by roots, and the connection between infiltration and groundwater, in terms of temporal and spatial scales.
