HAPpy Hour Seminar - Modeling of atmospheric processes through the example of a research group at the University of Pécs, Hungary

3:00 – 4:00 pm MST

Main content

The processes taking place in the atmosphere vary widely in space and time. Certain processes vary only slightly depending on the geographical location. At the same time, there are local characteristics that demand a local solution. In the presentation, I would like to present the work of the atmospheric research group of the University of Pécs (Hungary). In the available time, I would like to talk about our future plans in addition to the results and research directions so far. The focus of the group's work is on topics such as the modeling of microphysical and chemical processes in clouds and precipitating particles, the investigation of the conditions of the formation and persistence of fog, and the understanding of interactions between microphysical and dynamical processes in the atmosphere.
