RAL Internal Seminar: A Discussion of the RAL Futures Effort and Strategic Planning Retreat

Here we will have a presentation and discussion about the process of and key science outcomes from the RAL Futures initiative that occurred earlier in 2024, as well as an introduction to the RAL strategic planning retreat occurring tomorrow, 21 November. The RAL Futures initiative gathered input from RAL through two half day workshops including representatives across a diverse set of RAL participants, as well as a RAL wide survey that allowed for voting and suggestions of additional material. The RAL Futures materials have been informing initial RAL strategic planning activities. We will first present and discuss the key outcomes with all staff so we can better incorporate the RAL Futures information into the strategic planning retreat. Chris will then give a high-level overview of the strategic planning retreat followed by Q&A time.
