NOAA Community Modeling Workshop & Strategic Implementation Plan (SIP) Coordination Workshop

The workshop is organized into two parts:

Part 1: Modeling Community Workshop Day 1 (all day) and Day 2 (until noon). The emphasis is on dialogue and engagement with the community. The first day will include some context setting within series of moderated discussions on various topics such as governance, system architecture, infrastructure, the role of test beds, as well as other topics. The second day will address some key questions through breakout groups followed by a plenary.

Part 1 is open to all interested parties who register and remote access will be available for those who cannot travel (though we strongly encourage you to attend in person).

Part 2 - SIP/NGGPS Working groups and Tecnhical Sessions: Day 2 (afternoon) and Day 3 (all day). The focus of the second part shifts to the SIP/NGGPS working groups and is more technical in nature. The goal is to faciltate the advancement of each SIP/NGGPS working group and to ensure that they are well coordinated.

Part 2 is open to all interested parties who register; however, participation is limited to those who attend in person - there will be no remote access.
