We are pleased to announce the release of the FastEddy® 3.0, a groundbreaking, open source GPU-based model for numerical modeling of complex microscale flows.
The FastEddy® model is a disruptive-capability software product for numerical modeling of complex microscale flows utilizing advanced architectures for accelerated computing (faster, higher-fidelity modeling and prediction). The software’s speed and efficiency allow the broader application of large-eddy simulations, while using less energy to deliver faster results.
The latest version of FastEddy includes:
- Extensions include coupling to mesoscale weather for real-world downscaling with LES simulations.
- New portability enhancement with in-build hipify step for FastEddy on AMD and NVIDIA GPUs
