Just Released! FastEddy® 4.0
Discover what’s new in this latest version
We are pleased to announce the release of the FastEddy® 4.0, a groundbreaking, open source GPU-based model for numerical modeling of complex microscale flows.
The FastEddy® model is a disruptive-capability software product for numerical modeling of complex microscale flows utilizing advanced architectures for accelerated computing (faster, higher-fidelity modeling and prediction). The software’s speed and efficiency allow the broader application of large-eddy simulations, while using less energy to deliver faster results.
The extensions in the latest version of FastEddy include:
- A model to represent building effects in the urban environment
- A generalized actuator disk model to represent wind turbine effects
For more information refer to the FastEddy 4.0 release notes.
Try it now at the FastEddy® GitHub Repository and check out the Tutorials, including the newly added Model Extension Cases.
