Mesoamerica Affinity Group (MAAG)

Welcome to the Mesoamerica Affinity Group (MAAG) webpage! This group aims to advance the understanding and modeling efforts in the Mesoamerica and Carribean region through a collaboration between NSF NCAR, Texas A&M, and a growing list of universities and labs. We have produced a 2-week MPAS simulation over the region during an active tropical cyclone period, including Hurricane Maria (2017), that is open source for the community to analyze.
