Weather Intelligence for Smarter Maritime Transit

Maritime vessels carry more tonnage and value in United States trade than any other mode of transportation (nearly 1.5 billion short tons and over $1.5 trillion in 2020, Bureau of Transportation Statistics). But like all modes of transportation, maritime vessels must effectively navigate around and through adverse weather. Heavy fog, high winds, storms, and waves all impact safe and efficient routing decisions. RAL’s weather and transportation decision support expertise charts a course for reliable maritime transit.
