AMS Scientific and Technical Activities Committee (STAC) Award for Outstanding Service

Tara Jensen won the AMS Scientific and Technical Activities Committee (STAC) Outstanding Service Award from the AMS Probability and Statistics Committee for her vast contributions to statistical verification tools in operational meteorology and exhibiting exceptional dedication, expertise, and mentorship.

The AMS STAC Committee on Planned and Inadvertent Weather Modification aims to promote research, foster the transfer of knowledge and provide expertise on all areas of weather modification.
