Compounding hazards and intersecting vulnerabilities: Experiences and responses to extreme heat during COVID-19

Olga Wilhelmi from NCAR, Peter Howe from Utah State University, and Mary Hayden from University of Colorado - Colorado Springs will be presenting results from their research on how the COVID-19 pandemic affected the extreme heat risk, experiences, risk perceptions, coping strategies, and behaviors of the U.S. population.
