A fleet of multirotor and fixed-wing UAS were deployed during INFUSSE to capture the evolution of the sea breeze and impact on convection in a complex coastal environment. The fixed-wing CU RAAVEN flew Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) to measure horizontal gradients in temperature, moisture and winds along a 4 km long transect that spanned coastal waters to inland swamps.
