The book is a collaboration of leading climatologists, meteorologists and engineers throughout the atmospheric sciences community, including NCAR and UCAR, and is geared toward scientists and practioners.

Topics include data and software resources, data representation, observations, modeling, data-model integration, web services, and other topics where current and potential areas of atmospheric and geospatial sciences cross.
